MET Fund I was launched in 2018 as a pilot fund dedicated to MIT’s newest accelerator program MITdesignX. The fund served as a proof-of-concept and invested in start-ups that completed the designX program and raised VC funding. MET Fund I only participated in the initial pre-seed rounds of the start-ups. To date, MET Fund I portfolio companies have gone on to raise up to series A.
